Twilight actress Ashley Greene: I only get dates from famous guys
According to Ashley Greene, it can be difficult to find a partner, especially if you have a well-known face.
The Twilight actress claimed that most guys used her to gain their faces in the media after their breakup with boyband superstar Joe Jonas last year.
She groaned, “When a guy I’m dating says ‘I don’t want press,’ then adds ‘Let’s go to Katana for dinner,’ I’m like, ‘Really? You don’t want to simply walk to some dive down the street? You don’t want to be photographed, yet you nevertheless want to visit a location where you are aware of the presence of paparazzi.
With this career, dating is a really difficult task. I occasionally wish I could simply return to Florida and date my hometown boyfriend.
Greene acknowledged that as she became connected to every Tom, Dicκ, and Harry, things became more difficult. The 25-year-old told GQ, “It’s incredibly irritating whenever I can’t go and do anything because I know it’s going to be on the internet.”
“Like if I go to a friend’s place, they’ll be like, “She’s dating him!” she continued. “Well, am I dating my brother now?” one could think. Is that really what’s going on? Instead, if they mention that I was with a “мyʂtᴇгy man,” I will respond, “He is qυᴇᴇг, therefore it is a мyʂtᴇгy!”
The second installment of the Twilight franchise, ʙгᴇακiɴg Dawn, will be released in theaters next month.
