According to information from Defensa Central, Los Blancos are eager to secure the star from Bayer Leverkusen.

After an impressive season at CA Talleres, defender Piero Hincapie moved to Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2021. Here, the Ecuadorian international has been steadily developing and has become a key player for the Bundesliga club.

As of now, Hincapie has made 81 appearances and even contributed 5 goals. This season, the 21-year-old defender has only played 132 minutes due to a 3-match suspension.

According to information from Defensa Central, major teams are starting to show interest in Hincapie, including Real Madrid.

The Spanish royal club is facing defensive issues, with Eder Militao sidelined for an extended period due to injury, and David Alaba’s physical condition also being unstable.

In light of this situation, Real Madrid wants to accelerate negotiations to acquire Hincapie. Defensa Central reveals that Leverkusen is looking for 50 million euros for this deal.

However, Los Blancos may have to compete with Manchester United to secure the signature of the Ecuadorian star. The Red Devils are also in search of a quality defender to replace Lisandro Martinez, who is set to undergo surgery and is expected to return only in early next year.
