In a conversation with CaughtOffside, journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the future of the Scottish star.
Over the weekend, Scott McTominay shone by securing three points for Manchester United in their match against Brentford. Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano affirms that McTominay could still leave Old Trafford during the winter transfer window if Manchester United receives a suitable offer.
The Italian journalist stated:
“When Manchester United discussed with Erik ten Hag about the players who need to leave in the summer… Scott McTominay was on the list of those players if they receive an important offer.”
“The offer from West Ham wasn’t good enough for them to sell McTominay… Man United is still very pleased with him. McTominay is super professional, super serious, never complains even though he desires to play. So, unless there is a significant offer, they are willing to keep McTominay until the end of the season.”
Previously, in addition to West Ham, the media claimed that McTominay had been on the radar of other teams such as Fulham and Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.
