The publication claims that negotiations are already underway for Barcelona to play a friendly match in the United States of America in the month of December.
Their rival will almost certainly be a team from Mexico, and as a result, the possibility of playing against Lionel Messi and Inter Miami appears to be quite remote.
For the Blaugranas, this move will be motivated only by financial considerations; given their current financial situation, they could certainly benefit from any more revenue. After all, in addition to the upcoming signings that they anticipate, they have a significant amount of debt that is still outstanding in the market.
The whole of the coaching staff, including Xavi Hernandez, has been briefed on the board’s objectives, and they agree with the proposed course of action. Regarding the amount of money that will be made from the game, not much is known.
