In a heartfelt Instagram announcement, Neymar shared the joyous news of the arrival of his newborn daughter with his model girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi.
This week, the world’s most expensive football player will travel 7,073 miles back to Brazil to see his second child born, thanks to permission from his new club Al-Hilal.

And their newest member of the family joined the world earlier today. The Samba sensation quickly informed his 215 million Instagram followers of the news.
“Our Mavie arrived to complete our lives,” Neymar wrote. Greetings, daughter! We already adore you so much; we appreciate you picking us.
Alongside that, there were other private photos of the couple kissing their baby and Neymar giving her a bath.
As congratulations began to pour in, Bruna, 29, disclosed that the baby’s name means “my life” in the comments section.
One of the first teams to send their best wishes was Neymar’s Saudi team Al-Hilal, while Brazilian Olympic 100-meter hurdler Maurren Maggi wrote “God Bless.”
While Neymar already has a 12-year-old son, Davi Lucca, from a previous relationship with Carolina Dantas, Mavie is the couple’s first child together.
Neymar, a former player for Barcelona, has been dating Bruna since 2021. The couple went public with their relationship in January of last year.
She made their first child announcement back in April, just before shocking rumors started circulating that Neymar had been charged with cheating on his model partner.
After being caught on camera having fun in a Spanish nightclub with two unidentified girls, Bruna turned to Instagram to discuss the incident and express her “disappointment.”
“Good afternoon, I’m aware of what happened and I am disappointed again, but at this point in my pregnancy, my daughter is my focus and my worries, and that is all I will think about right now,” she wrote.
“I appreciate all of the love messages you have sent.”
In an emotional social media post, Brazil’s record goalscorer apologized to Bruna back in June following earlier accusations of wrongdoing.
He penned, “Bru. I act on your behalf as well as that of your family. Justify what is not justified. Not required. But in OUR life, I need you.
“I saw how vulnerable you were, how much this caused you to suffer, and how much you wanted to be at my side. I’m standing next to you.
“I messed up with all of you. On and off the field, I take a chance every day when I admit I’m mistaken. The only person who can correct my errors in my intimate relationships with my family and friends at home is me.
One of the most important persons in my life was affected by everything. The mother of my child and the woman I had always imagined walking by me.
Has it affected his family—my family today—? She experienced her intimacy during this unique time of pregnancy.
This summer, Neymar departed Paris Saint-Germain, who in 2017 paid Barcelona a record £198 million for him, to go to the Middle East.
Al-Hilal paid an initial £77.6 million to bring him to Saudi Arabia under a lucrative £2.5 million per week contract.
Before Neymar made his debut with his new club against Tehran in the Champions League and left for his native country, his side celebrated his debut by blowing six past Al-Fayha.
